Xtreme Gap focuses on Adventure and Sports Travel. All programmes have a lot to offer. Weather they are in Europe or in Africa and whether it is for 1 day or 12 weeks, you feel great. We are very proud to say that we have done all our gap year sport adventures, like the diving and gap year surfing. We know what we are talking about when we tell you how it feels to see a whale shark whilst diving, or what it feels like to ride a wave for the first time.

Our newest focus is on gap year surfing programmes. Why? Well we have so many requests in, and we understand you want choice. So we give you just that. With Xtreme Gap you can choose to surf in Africa, in South America, in Australia or Europe, and shortly we will have surfing in Asia too. Because we feel Bali is not to be missed, we just have not had the time to explore yet.

Our latest travel was to Portugal to explore a surfing programme and to see how they conduct their lessons there, how the waves are there, what the beaches are like. And also to see what the social life is like because we do understand that even if you are going to learn how to surf on your gap year surfing, you also book through us for the extras.

During the gap year surfing programme you will not just be surfing. Next to excellent surf conditions in Portugal you also find great sea food, nice barbeques at the accommodation site, good wines and Sagres beer, and most important of all a great social life. We often organize barbeques that you can join and where DJs will be playing all night long.

The Xtreme gap year surfing programmes are open to people of all ages, back ground. You can join the surf camp is you are a beginner or if you are already an advanced surfer. So during this programme you will meet all kind of people and at the breakfast table you will be sitting next to people from Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA and so on.

If you want to improve your surfing or even if you are just a beginner we can train you up to surf instructor level with one of our gap year surfing programme. Our unique surf instructor course in Australia can take you all the way up from beginner to instructor level in 3 months time. The best 3 months you will ever have. But we also have programmes in Africa, Europe and South America.
